About Us

The The Carraig Centre (TCC) is a facility operated by Carrigrohane Union of Parishes, Church of Ireland, and is intended as a church, parish and community centre. It is a place of Christian worship and a venue for appropriate community activities. TCC warmly welcomes applications from organisations,  community groups and individuals who wish to use the building or part thereof for meetings and other activities which do not conflict with the ethos and values of the Church of Ireland and the Carrigrohane Union of Parishes;  these are summarized at www.ireland.anglican.org/our-faith/what-we-believe.

TCC will operate this policy in concert with its charitable status and its Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Identity statements (which may be available on request).

During 2023 TCC, while still being part of Carrigrohane Union of Parishes, has come under the direct management of The Carraig Parish and Community Centre CLG (Company Limited by Guarantee).  This does not change anything except that it has become a charity in its own right.

The company is governed by a Board of Directors, the present members of that Board are:

Jessica Kindler – Chair

Jane Moffat – Company Secretary

Rev. Robert Ferris – Rector Carrigrohane Union of Parishes

Ivan McMahon

Matthew Watson

Gerard Dunne

Bill Lane – Centre Manager

Matt Gould – Community Leader

The office in TCC is open each weekday from 930AM to 530PM.  Deirdre Lightbody, Jaki Godfrey and MAry Gleeson keep it humming half the time while others cover the remaining times.  The office handles both Carrigrohane Union of Parishes matters and TCC matters.
